Former Moroccan international Mehdi Benatia has left his position as sporting director of the French football club Marseille. The decision to step down was made by mutual agreement. Benatia joined Marseille last year to head the sporting department. During his tenure, he succeeded in strengthening the team squad and improving the scouting network.
