Felix Auger-Aliassime Wins ATP Montpellier Title

Tennis player Felix Auger-Aliassime was crowned champion of the ATP in Montpellier after defeating Aleksandar Kovacevic 6-2, 6-7(7) and 7-6(2) in an exciting match that lasted 2 hours and 42 minutes. This triumph adds to the first title he obtained at the ATP 250 in Adelaide earlier this year, where he defeated Sebastian Korda.

With this victory in Montpellier, Auger-Aliassime secured his second trophy of the season and the seventh of his career. Despite a stumble in the second set, where he let two opportunities to win the match slip by, the Canadian managed to keep his composure and take the victory in the third set.

On the other hand, Kovacevic, despite the loss, managed to reach the final from the qualifying rounds and demonstrated great performance throughout the tournament. Due to his outstanding performance, the American will rise to the 75th position in the ATP ranking, displacing 27 competitors from their positions.
