In Paris, a former employee of the Louboutin footwear stores was accused of the illegal resale of more than 1,400 items of the "Louboutin" brand in the USA. This was reported by sources familiar with the situation, as well as legal sources to the France Presse agency.
It is suspected that the woman stole leather goods and "Louboutin" shoes from January to November 2024 for a total of more than 1.48 million euros (1.56 million dollars). The 30-year-old accused, who participated in the organized theft, was placed under judicial control yesterday evening.
A source, familiar with the case, reported that the former "Louboutin" employee, previously never prosecuted, currently works at "Dior". Nevertheless, the judicial control prohibits her from working in the fashion or luxury sectors.
During the search of her home, investigators uncovered numerous items from "Louboutin" worth more than 60 thousand euros (about 63 thousand dollars) and other items from "Dior" worth more than 85 thousand euros (about 90 thousand dollars), which raises suspicions of committed analogous thefts at "Dior".
