Artworks made of chocolate, signed by some of France's most famous pastry chefs, were sold at an auction in Paris yesterday, raising over 100,000 euros for charity. The auction, initiated by renowned pastry chef Pierre Hermé, featured innovative creations such as a chocolate clock, a white chocolate bouquet, and a piece containing 495 chocolate eggs. The event, described by the auction house 'Artcurial' as a world first, raised a total of 108,100 euros. The proceeds will be donated to a charity that helps children with leukemia. 'It is truly unprecedented,' said auctioneer Arnaud Oliveau to AFP.
