Rare De Gaulle Artifacts Auctioned in Paris

On December 16, there will be an auction in Paris, where manuscripts and souvenirs belonging to the former President of France, Charles de Gaulle (1890-1970), will be showcased, as announced by the auction house "Arcurial," organizing the event. During the auction, a manuscript of the famous address from June 18, which was a message from de Gaulle from London in 1940, will be presented.

According to "Arcurial," the auction is an initiative of the de Gaulle family, and part of the proceeds will be allocated to the Anne de Gaulle Foundation, which supports people with disabilities. The auction will feature books, letters, and wristwatches (LeCoultre) that de Gaulle wore during his presidency in the 1960s, with estimated prices ranging from 6,000 to 10,000 euros.
