A broad survey of public opinion showed that only 22% of respondents were satisfied with the work of the French president. A total of 21% of participants in the survey conducted by the "Ifop" institute and published in the newspaper "Journal du Dimanche" expressed dissatisfaction regarding the president's activities. The indicator of those who were somewhat dissatisfied reached 35%, while those deeply dissatisfied accounted for 44%, and the overall share of the dissatisfied made up 79% of respondents. Macron's popularity recently fell to a low, even lower than that observed during the weekly protests of the "yellow vests" movement against him in 2019. According to a poll published on Sunday regarding public opinion, the popularity of French President Emmanuel Macron has reached its lowest level since his election as president for the first time in 2017.
