The French police killed a man with a knife who attacked a group of police officers without any words, early in the morning in the Saint-Denis area near Paris. This was reported by the Paris police department and the France Press agency.
The police explained that one of the officers initially used a "submachine gun" without hesitation, after which another officer fired at the man from his weapon. The man was wounded in the chest and died, despite the intervention of emergency services, an source reported.
