The national team of judo of Russia has arrived in the capital of France, Paris, to participate in the Grand Prix of judo, which will take place from October 16 to 17. The hero of sports of Russia, Larisa Korobeynikova, who heads the delegation, noted:
"At the Grand Prix we came strong. The team includes masters of international class, winners of the stages of the European Cup and prizors of the world and European championships. Our goal is to gain the maximum number of Olympic points and demonstrate a high level of preparation for the Olympic Games in Paris next year."
The national judo team of Russia will compete at the Grand Prix with a composition of 18 athletes: 10 men and 8 women. In the parallel Parisian tournament in memory of Francis Labonte, juniors up to 21 years old will be released.
