
Talal Shafili, representing the national team in judo in the weight category up to 81 kg, reached the quarter-finals of the "Grand Slam" tournament in Paris after winning against the Cypriot Odiseus Georgios in the 1/16 finals.
Bashirat Harudi, competing in the weight category up to 52 kg, fought for a bronze medal, but suffered a loss to the champion from Kosovo Destria Kraskini at this stage of the "tournament of consolation." Preliminary stages of the competition were successful for her, as she defeated the Frenchwoman Liu Perres and the Dutch Van Namy, taking fifth place overall and earning valuable points for qualification for the 2028 Olympics.
At the tournament, there were recorded losses for lightweight and middleweight categories. Karim Abdellatif (weight category up to 73 kg) lost to the champion of Italy Manuel Lombardo in the 1/32 finals, however, he defeated the Irishman Joshua Green in the 1/64 stage.
Nadji Kazibek (weight category up to 66 kg) suffered a loss to the Japanese Taiko Fuji by points, while Mokhammad Izbik (weight category up to 73 kg) conceded to the Portuguese Autari in the 1/16 finals after winning against the Frenchman Benjamin Exos in the 1/32 finals.
