
Today in Paris, the 9th season of the Abu Dhabi Xtreme Challenge (ADXC 9) tournament started, organized by Global Ultimate Management. The tournament gathered leading grapplers in jiu-jitsu and combat sports from around the world at the famous Dougo sports hall in Paris. This event highlights the global recognition of Abu Dhabi as a hub for elite sports and its crucial role in the development of martial arts, as well as the organization of quality tournaments at the international level.
Before the tournament began, a press conference took place in Paris during which athletes and representatives of international media highly appreciated the contribution of Abu Dhabi to the development of grappling worldwide through ADXC, presenting a professional model that combines a high level of competitiveness, quality organization, and technical mastery.
Olympic champion from France, Giacomo Chini, who is participating in the no-gi fights (grappling system), noted that Abu Dhabi managed to establish a new model of combat sports, and his participation in this tournament represents a new stage in his sports career in a venue he is familiar with, but in a new and unique competitive context.
Brazilian jiu-jitsu champion Gabriel Souza, one of the leading athletes in the world, emphasized that the tournament sets a new standard for the organization of competitions among top athletes.
