Paris Saint-Germain, the reigning champions, are determined to extend their winning streak in domestic competitions when they host Rennes in the 25th round of Ligue 1.
The Parisians dominate the French championship and are fighting to retain the title. Second-placed Maurizio Pochettino's team is currently in second place in the league table, trailing Lille by just one point. In their last match, PSG secured a convincing win over Nîmes with a score of 4:2.
"We know that we face a challenging game against Rennes, but we are ready for this challenge. We need to continue to show our best football to achieve victories and maintain the pressure at a high level in the title race," Pochettino said in a pre-match interview.
Despite a number of injuries and the absence of several key players, the Parisians are ready to take three points in the match against Rennes and continue to chase Lille.
