France has launched an emergency loan program to help small and medium-sized businesses affected by rising fuel prices due to the situation in the Middle East. The French Ministry of Economy stated that companies in the transport, agriculture, and fishing sectors will be eligible for rapid fuel loans of up to 50,000 euros. The state development bank 'Bpifrance' will provide these loans, which will be disbursed within seven days of application. The interest rate is 3.8% for a repayment period of up to three years.
