The Cannes Film Festival announced that French actress Juliette Binoche has been invited to preside over the jury at its 78th ceremony, which will take place from May 13 to 24. The 60-year-old actress replaces the director Greta Gerwig, who last year made the film "Barbie" and won the Golden Palm for the American film "Normandland" by Chloé Zhao.
Juliette Binoche has become one of the few who have won the so-called "triple crown" - winning at the main film festivals of the world: Cannes, Venice, Berlin, and also an Oscar.
