Three skiers died in three separate avalanches in the French Alps on Sunday, according to the La Plagne ski resort's administration, a day after three other skiers perished in similar incidents on Saturday. The resort authorities reported that the three avalanches were independent of each other. Local officials have issued warnings about the high risk of snow slides due to heavy snowfall.
