On Thursday, during his press conference, the Minister of Defense of France, Sébastien Lecornu, officially announced a new energy partnership between France and Germany. According to him, this agreement in the field of nuclear weapons will contribute to strengthening the security of both countries.
"This partnership will contribute to the development of joint strategies for the use of nuclear energy for military purposes. We are confident that cooperation with Germany in this area will help us ensure the defense of both countries at a high level," emphasized Lecornu.
The minister also noted that this partnership will become an important step towards strengthening European security and sovereignty. In his opinion, cooperation between the two countries in the field of nuclear weapons will contribute to improving the long-term strategy for the defense of Europe.
