President of France Emmanuel Macron stated on Thursday that "no one has the right to speak for Ukraine," that "it cannot be done." This statement was made in the context of Russia's recent actions towards Ukraine. Macron also emphasized the necessity of maintaining peace and security in the region.
He added: "We still believe in the peaceful resolution of the conflict, but in this, it is necessary to maintain a firm position regarding Russia." Macron also stated that Europe must be united and decisive in its approach to the situation in Ukraine.
"Continue to support Ukraine so that it can live in peace and freedom," concluded the President of France.
