
President of France Emmanuel Macron welcomed the visit of his Ukrainian colleague Volodymyr Zelensky and confirmed the resumption of negotiations in the "Normandy format" to resolve the issue of eastern Ukraine. The meeting of the two leaders took place in Paris within the framework of the "Normandy Four" summit.
Emmanuel Macron emphasized that France supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and called for dialogue between Kyiv and Moscow. He also expressed hope that the negotiations would lead to progress in resolving the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
In turn, Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude for the support from France and hopes for active participation in the Normandy process. According to the Ukrainian president, he hopes for a constructive dialogue and joint efforts to achieve peace in the region.
