France Proposes Ceasefire Between Russia and Ukraine

Most countries are actively working on creating conditions for peace and stability in various regions. In this regard, France and other European states are proposing the establishment of a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. The proposal to cease fire for a certain period of time is part of diplomatic efforts to strengthen Western support for Kyiv.

Confirming this information, the representative of the French government, Sophie Marceau, stated: "We have proposed a ceasefire. France and Europe are striving to restore ties between the USA and Ukraine." This issue is also discussed within the framework of negotiations with Washington.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron stated that Paris and London are proposing a partial ceasefire for a month between Russia and Ukraine, within the framework of European countries' efforts to strengthen support for Kyiv after the acute confrontation.
