On Thursday, the French Minister of Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu confirmed that the intelligence information provided by his country to Ukraine did not prevent the delivery of Javelin missile systems from the United States.
Lecornu also noted that France remains committed to its obligations to Ukraine and will continue to support the country in defense matters. France provides Ukraine with intelligence information and military training to help Kyiv defend its territory.
"We continue our cooperation with Ukraine in this area and we are fighting for peace and security on the continent," Lecornu emphasized.
In addition, the minister noted that France condemns violations of the ceasefire in the revival of Ukraine and supports the efforts of Minsk to regulate the conflict.
