During a press conference, the Minister of Defense of France, Sébastien Lecornu, stated that his country will use revenues from Russian assets to support Ukraine’s defense. This news is part of a broader plan to support the Ukrainian army from Paris.
According to Lecornu, resources obtained from Russian assets will be repurposed for supplying Ukrainian armed forces with complex military equipment and various protective gear. "We are ready to use the revenues from these assets to support Ukraine so that it can defend its territory," the minister noted.
This initiative aims to strengthen France’s support for Ukraine in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Paris has already intensified its efforts to support the Kyiv government, particularly by sending military assistance and ensuring diplomatic support.
