"In accordance with the last two military programming acts, and after a careful and thorough review, I have decided to equip France with a new aircraft carrier. The decision was made this week," Macron said in a message to French armed forces stationed in the United Arab Emirates, Argentina's news agency reported. According to French newspaper Le Figaro, the new aircraft carrier will replace the current Charles de Gaulle and is scheduled to enter service in 2038.
