Buenos Aires, December 27 (NA) – The approval rating of French President Emmanuel Macron has dropped to 25%, the lowest level since he took office in 2017, according to the results of a poll. The study, conducted by Toluna-Harris Interactive for the French news channel LCI, showed that Macron's popularity index fell by four points compared to November, matching the previous all-time low recorded in October 2025. In contrast, and according to the Argentine News Agency, via Xinhua, the approval rating of Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu remained broadly stable. The poll detailed that 34% approved of Lecornu's performance, one point down from the previous month, but virtually unchanged since September. The poll was conducted online from December 22 to 23 among a representative sample of 1,099 French adults.
