Earlier today, the United Kingdom stated that it has temporarily withdrawn its staff from Iran due to the security situation in the region. Additionally, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised on Friday its citizens present in these areas to exercise caution and vigilance and to identify safe shelters. The UK's Foreign Office stated that its ability to assist British nationals is now extremely limited, as the embassy is operating remotely, and no consular services are provided in person by staff, even in emergency cases.
