According to the minister, this action contradicts the agreement between France and Israel and its agreements.
The French ambassador to Israel, Eric Danon, was called for consultations in Paris. The French government is calling for measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring again. Paris considers that the incident in Jerusalem may complicate the resumption of dialogue with the Palestinians.
"France categorically condemns this violation of agreements and expects the Israeli authorities to take the necessary measures," said Jean-Noël Barro.
