Young Lebanese activist Jorj Ibrahim Abdallah received conditional release approval from a French court. This is already the eleventh hearing on the case for the conditional release of the activist. Jorj has been in custody since April 2021.
"We are satisfied with the court's decision on the conditional release for Jorj. We hope that he will soon return to his family and friends," the activist's attorney commented.
Jorj Ibrahim Abdallah was arrested after participating in one of the protests in Paris. He is currently 24 years old, and he has become a symbol of the fight for freedom in Lebanon after his active participation in mass protests in the country.
