Paris Saint-Germain proved themselves the star of the French 'Clasico' as goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier saved penalties from Denmark's Mathias Olléry and Ivory Coast's Hamid Traoré, leading his team to their first title of the year. PSG took the lead thanks to Ousmane Dembélé (13'), but Mason Greenwood equalized for Marseille (76'). Marseille then went ahead again with an own goal by Ecuadorian defender William Pacho under pressure from Gabonese Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (87'). The match ended 2-2 after extra time. Paris Saint-German won the French Champions Trophy on penalties 4-1. The match was held at the Jabir Al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait.
