The French cosmetics company L'Oréal announced a new initiative on Thursday.
According to the company's representatives, they plan to launch a new line of products that will be created entirely from recycled materials. This decision is outlined in the company's sustainability strategy and will reduce harmful impact on the surrounding environment.
"We aim for 100% of our packaging to be made from recycled or bio-based materials by 2025," noted L'Oréal's general director.
The new product line will include shampoos, shower gels, face masks, and other hair and skin care products. The company also promises to maintain the quality and effectiveness of its cosmetics.
