France's Energy Minister Maud Bregeon stated that about 18% of fuel stations in the country were experiencing a shortage of a certain type of fuel on Tuesday morning. In an interview with BFMTV, she explained that the French oil company Total Energies set a retail price ceiling in France, lower than what other brands charge, which led to supply problems at some stations. She clarified that there is no general supply issue, but rather a logistical problem due to changes in demand.
