Explosion in Grenoble Bar Injures Ten

An explosion in a bar in Grenoble resulted in injuries to ten people, two of whom are in critical condition. Authorities suspect a personal vendetta, not terrorism.

As a result of the explosion of a hand grenade in a bar in the town of Grenoble in southeastern France, ten people were injured, two of them are in serious condition. This was stated by the public prosecutor Frédérique Tardy de Kusi, inspecting the explosion site.

"A person entered and threw a hand grenade, and apparently did not say a word, but then hid," he told journalists.

"At this moment, there are no preliminary hypotheses." However, "we can exclude purely terrorist attacks since there is nothing that would allow us to suggest that this is related to terrorism," the public prosecutor added.
