The police of France continues to investigate a crime committed by an unknown man, who previously shot 15 people, throwing a hand grenade in the midst of a café in the Olympic village south from the town of Grenoble.

The result of the attack was several serious injuries among visitors. So far, the incident is not being considered as a terrorist act. Currently, human rights organizations are actively working on the investigation of the incident and are trying to determine the motives of the attacker.

"There was a powerful explosion, after which many people started yelling and panicking," said one of the witnesses of the event. Initially, the police considered a version of a conflict between café visitors, but later came to the conclusion that the incident was not random.

Witnesses reported that after the grenade was thrown, the man locked himself in one of the café rooms, where he was later discovered by human rights officials. Investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the incident and are expected to operationally find and detain the suspect.
